The movies drawing the most attention on IMDb, ranked by the MOVIEmeter. Release weeks and trailer drops move this chart.
The MOVIEmeter tracks how much IMDb users are looking at each title, so it rises before people have seen a film as well as after. A trailer, a festival premiere or a streaming release can all push a title up.
Titles carry their release year in brackets. A film from an earlier year climbing here usually means it just reached a streaming service or became part of a conversation again.

No. It measures attention on IMDb, such as page views, rather than ticket sales or ratings. A film can lead it before release.
Streaming releases, anniversaries, a sequel announcement or a news story about the cast can all send people back to an older title.
