About WhatsTrending
WhatsTrending answers one question: what is trending today. It puts the public charts of 15 platforms on one page, so a spike on TikTok sits next to the Google searches, YouTube videos, Reddit threads and Amazon best sellers it is part of.
Where the ranks come from
Every chart is the platform's own public ranking: Google's trending searches, the App Store top charts, Steam's most played games, the IMDb MOVIEmeter, and so on. WhatsTrending does not rescore or reorder them. Each card shows the date its chart was taken, because some platforms publish daily and others less often.
What the labels mean
Each item is compared with the same chart one archived day earlier. An up arrow is the number of places it climbed, a down arrow the number it fell, and NEW means it was not in the top 10 the day before. On a platform page, the day count is how many of the last two weeks the item spent in the top 10: one day is a spike, ten days is a fixture.
Trending everywhere lists short topics, such as a search term or a game, that also appear in at least one other platform's top 10 at the same time.
Free and Pro
The public board is the top 10 per chart, about a day behind. A free key gets the same charts in Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or the API, plus search history for any keyword. Pro adds live charts with every rank.
